Why should I take the course with 3LJ?

As well as teaching Business English, 3LJ have a wealth of experience in a wide variety of businesses and are well equipped to teach English for Special Purposes (ESP).

ESP deals more with the terminology and expression which is specific to one particular area of business and sometimes even to one task, such as producing the company’s annual report.

Whilst we assume that the person has the expertise in his or her specific area he/she will usually also require practice in the functions he/she has to perform.

This knowledge along with the methodology we use and our stress free learning environment, enables each person to develop confidence in using the language at a fast pace and ensures we deliver value through our teaching.

What is the best course for me - group or 1:1?

We have found that this is usually driven by funds available! However, having one or two other trainees to interact with is good but in general the smaller the class, the better.

Can I take a combination of group and 1:1?

Yes, and this will be discussed with your tutor when designing your Journey Plan.

Can I take the course at any time?

The course can begin as soon as we have discussed your needs and agreed the stages of your Journey.

What is the minimum length of a course?

Each Journey is very personal and needs driven so it can be as short or as long as is necessary for you to achieve your goals.

Is there an entry test of my English?

No. The needs analysis will give us all the information we need to design your Journey Plan at the level you need in order to progress quickly to deliver results.

How can I check if my English is improving?

Your Journey Plan will have a number of checks in place at key stages for yourself and your tutor to discuss.

Do I have to buy a course book?

No. All course books, texts, journals and other media are included in the course costs.

What happens if I want to change or cancel my course?

You will personally discuss and plan your Journey with your tutor therefore the pace at which you learn and the quality of what you learn is driven by you.

All cancellations incur a fee of 25% of the full course fee.
